Meet Sabrina Aranda

Program Director and Health Advocate

Sabrina Aranda is a lifelong resident of Hayward, California, having spent much of her life in the unincorporated areas of Fairview and Ashland. She is a proud product of the Hayward and San Lorenzo public school systems. Sabrina is also a devoted aunt to 10 nieces and nephews and the eldest daughter of a United States Postal Worker union steward. Her father, the youngest of 14 children, was a descendant of the historic Russell City, an unincorporated community in Alameda County.

Professionally, Sabrina has dedicated her career to serving her hometown as a healthcare advocate. For the past 20 years, she has worked within the Hayward Unified School District, and in her current role as Program Director, she has successfully secured over $35 million in grant funding over the past three years.

Sabrina’s early career included service as an AmeriCorps member, where she made a difference in the lives of students in the Hunters Point District of San Francisco.
